Fall 2026 Key Events at Cornwall Friends

September:

  • Sunday, September 13th, 2026 – Spiritual Reading Group Meeting. 9:15am-10:15am
    • Reading Topic: Selections from “How to Listen” by: Thich Nhat Hanh
    • Suggestions for future readings are welcome, please reach out to a group member if you have a selection in mind.
    • This group will meeting will break for 15 min before Meeting for Worship.
    • All are welcome to attend.
  • Sunday, September 20th, 2026 – Meeting for Worship with a Concern for Business. Begining at 9AM
  • Sunday, September 27th, 2026 – Free Luncheon At Cornwall Monthly Meeting Begining at 12 noon
    • New friend Claude is providing a meal to express gratitude for the kindness and warm welcome he has received since attending Meeting.
    • If you are interested in attending this event, Please RSVP to Jane by September 13th
      • When repsonding please include:
        • Your Name
        • Number in your household attending
        • Any allergies or dietary restrictions

October:

  • Sunday, October11th, 2026 – Spiritual Reading Group Meeting. 9:15am-10:15am

  • MidHudson Quakers Quilting Project – Multiple Saturday Dates 9:30am Noon
    • Location 22 Spacekenkill Road, Poughkeepsie, NY
    • Saturday, September 19th

    • No sewing or quilting experience necessary.
